    Product Description

    UNC7467 is an inhibitor of inositol hexakisphosphate kinase 1 (IP6K1) and IP6K2 (IC50s = 8.9 and 4.9 nM, respectively).1 It is selective for IP6K1 and IP6K2 over IP6K3 and inositol-triphosphate 3-kinase A (ITPKA; IC50s = 1,320 and 832 nM, respectively), as well as a panel of 30 other kinases at 1 µM, but does inhibit inositol phosphate multi-kinase (IPMK; IC50 = 24.4 nM). In vivo, UNC7467 (5 mg/kg per day) reduces body weight, fat mass, epididymal- and inguinal-adipose tissue deposit weights, and liver weight, as well as blood glucose levels in a pyruvate tolerance test after four weeks, in a mouse model of diet-induced obesity.
