    Product Description

    SR 2640 is an antagonist of leukotriene D4 (LTD4; Item No. 20310) and LTE4 (Item No. 20410).1 It inhibits LTD4- or LTE4-induced contraction of isolated guinea pig ileum (IC50s = ~0.003 µM for both), but not LTC4-induced contractions. SR 2640 (1 mg/kg) inhibits ovalbumin-induced bronchoconstriction in anesthetized guinea pigs.
