    Product Description

SB-218795 is a neurokinin-3 (NK3) receptor antagonist (Ki = 0.013 µM).1 It is selective for NK3 over NK1 and NK2 receptors (Kis = >100 and 1.221 µM, respectively). SB-218795 inhibits senktide-induced contractions in isolated rabbit iris sphincter muscle preparations (Kb = 43 nM). It also inhibits substance P-induced contraction of longitudinal and circular smooth muscles isolated from rabbit duodenum, jejunum, or ileum when used at a concentration of 1 µM.2
