    Product Description

    (+)-6-PPD-Q is the more toxic enantiomer of the oxidized 6-PPD transformation product and environmental toxicant 6-PPD-Q (Item Nos. 45446 | 38247 | 45543).1 It is lethal to rainbow trout (LC50 = 1.51 µg/L) and 2.4-fold more toxic than (–)-6-PPD-Q (Item No. 42622). Despite its faster metabolism than (–)-6-PPD-Q, (+)-6-PPD-Q exhibits a higher uptake rate and lower elimination rate, which results in higher bioaccumulation.
