ENVIRONMENTAL TOXICOLOGY TOOLS & SERVICESQuinoxyfen is a quinoline fungicide.1 It reduces the incidence of grape powdery mildew and the mean proportion of infected berries when applied at a concentration of 292 ml/ha to grape vines at the end of bloom stage.2 Quinoxyfen reduces the feeding rate of G. fossarum (EC50 = 23.8 µg/L).1 It also reduces androgen-mediated transcriptional activity in a reporter assay using MDA-kb2 cells (IC20 = 4.79 µM) and is cytotoxic to MDA-kb2 cells (EC20 = 10.1 µM).3
