    Product Description

    Substance P (7-11) is a peptide fragment of substance P (Item No. 24035).1 It is formed from substance P via hydrolysis by neutral endopeptidase. Substance P (7-11) (>1 µM) increases collagenase and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2; Item No. 14041) production in isolated bovine articular chondrocytes.2 It increases intracellular calcium levels in isolated bovine chondrocytes when used at concentrations ranging from 0.01 to 10 µM.1
