    Product Description

    INT-131 is a partial agonist of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARγ).1 It binds to PPARγ (IC50 = 0.017 µM) and induces PPARγ transactivation in HEK293 cells expressing the human receptor (EC50 = 0.15 µM). INT-131 (30 mg/kg) reduces blood glucose and insulin levels in KKAy diabetic mice. It reduces brain levels of TNF-α, IL-1β, chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 3 (CCL3), and complement C3 in a mouse model of ecotropic HIV-1 infection.2
