    Product Description

Sinogliatin is an activator of glucokinase.1 It increases the hepatic levels of glucokinase and pancreatic levels of insulin in a rat model of diabetes induced by streptozotocin (Item No. 13104) and a high-fat diet (HFD) when administered at doses of 10 or 30 mg/kg per day. Sinogliatin (10 or 30 mg/kg) decreases blood levels of glucose in an oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) in the same model. Formulations containing sinogliatin have been used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes.

WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use.
