    MAO-A inhibitor 1 is a stilbene that has been found in V. nigrum and has antioxidant and enzyme inhibitory activities.1,2,3 It scavenges DPPH (Item No. 14805) radicals in a cell-free assay (IC50 = 0.38 µM).1 MAO-A inhibitor 1 inhibits H+/K+-ATPase in isolated porcine gastric mucosal homogenates (IC50 = 3.4 µM).2 MAO-A inhibitor 1 also inhibits monoamine oxidase A (MAO-A; IC50 = 100 µM).3
