    Product Description

β-Hydroxybutyrate valine is a secondary ketone body metabolite composed of β-hydroxybutyrate (BHB) conjugated to the essential amino acid L-valine (Item No. 38709).1 It is formed endogenously by cytosolic non-specific dipeptidase 2 (CDNP2) following ketogenesis. β-Hydroxybutyrate valine (50 mg/kg per day) reduces food intake and body weight in diet-induced obese (DIO) mice.
