    Product Description

    AM4668 is an agonist of free fatty acid receptor 1 (FFAR1/GPR40).1 It induces inositol-1,4,5-triphosphate (IP3) production in A9 cells expressing human FFAR1/GPR40 (EC50 = 3.6 nM). AM4668 induces insulin secretion from pancreatic islets isolated from FFAR1 knock-in mice. In vivo, AM4668 (10 mg/kg) reduces blood glucose levels in FFAR1 knock-in mice.
