    Product Description

    CFM 2 is an AMPA receptor antagonist.1 It inhibits AMPA-induced inward currents in whole-cell patch-clamp assays using isolated guinea pig olfactory cortex neurons when used at a concentration of 50 µM. CFM 2 inhibits the clonic and tonic phases of sound-induced seizures in mice (ED50s = 4.66 and 3.92 mg/kg, respectively). It inhibits seizures induced by maximal electroshock (MES) and pentylenetetrazole (Item No. 18682) in mice (ED50s = 15.9 and 22.6 µmol/kg, respectively).
