    Product Description

    Olumacostat glasaretil is an inhibitor of acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC).1 It increases the ratio of acetyl-CoA to free CoA in hamster ear sebaceous glands when applied topically at a concentration of 6% (w/w). Olumacostat glasaretil (0.3, 1, or 3 µM) inhibits triacylglycerol formation induced by T0901317 (Item No. 71810) and insulin in primary human sebocytes. It decreases hamster ear sebaceous gland lipid area when applied topically at a concentration of 6% (w/w) twice per day.
