    Product Description

    Acid green 3 is a triphenylmethane dye.1 It inhibits ATP-binding cassette transporter 2 (ABCG2) in membrane vesicles overexpressing human ABCG2 (IC50 = 2.99 µM).2 Acid green 3 (3% of the diet) induces malignant tumor formation in rats.1 Formulations containing acid green 3 have been used as excipients in drug products.
