    9(R)-Hexahydrocannabinol-d9 (exempt preparation) (Item No. 44685) is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of 9(R)-hexahydrocannabinol (Item Nos. 37913 | 27500) by GC- or LC-MS. 9(R)-Hexahydrocannabinol is structurally similar to known phytocannabinoids. It induces immobility, severe stupor, ataxia, full ptosis, and crouched posture, markers of psychotropic activity, in rhesus monkeys.1 9(R)-Hexahydrocannabinol-d9 is regulated as a Schedule I compound in the United States. 9(R)-Hexahydrocannabinol-d9 (exempt preparation) (Item No. 44685) is provided as a DEA exempt preparation.
