    Product Description

    Chenodeoxycholic acid (CRM) (Item No. 44867) is a certified reference material categorized as a primary bile acid.1 Decreased serum levels of chenodeoxycholic acid (CDCA) are associated with ulcerative colitis.2 Serum levels of CDCA decrease in patients who are no longer diabetic following gastric bypass surgery.3 Formulations containing chenodeoxycholic acid have been used in the treatment of cerebrotendinous xanthomatosis (CTX). This product is intended for use in quantitative analytical research applications. This product is also available as a general research tool (Item Nos. 10011286 | 35346).
