    Taurochenodeoxycholic acid (CRM) (Item No. 44870) is a certified reference material categorized as conjugated bile acid. It is a taurine-conjugated form of the primary bile acid chenodeoxycholic acid (Item No. 10011286). Serum levels of taurochenodeoxycholic acid are increased in patients with liver cirrhosis and biliary levels are at a reduced ratio in comparison to other bile acids in patients with cholangiocarcinoma.1,2 This product is intended for use in quantitative analytical research applications. This product is also available as a general research tool (Item No. 20275).
