    Product Description

    Ursodeoxycholic acid (CRM) (Item No. 44908) is a certified reference material categorized as a secondary bile acid.1 Ursodeoxycholic acid comprises a small proportion of human bile acids.2 The ratio of serum ursodeoxycholic acid to chenodeoxycholic acid is increased in children with food allergy compared to children with asthma.3 Fasting plasma levels of ursodeoxycholic acid are increased for at least 24 months post-procedure in patients with morbid obesity undergoing Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB).4 Formulations containing UDCA have been used in the treatment of primary biliary cirrhosis. This product is intended for use in quantitative analytical research applications. This product is also available as two general research tools (Item Nos. 31016 | 15121).
