    Noscapine (hydrochloride) (CRM) (Item No. 45140) is a certified reference material categorized as an opiate alkaloid and antitussive.1,2,3 It has been found in P. somniferum, the opium poppy, and unlike codeine and morphine, noscapine lacks sedative and hypnotic properties.4 This product is intended for analytical forensic applications. This product is also available as a general research tool (Item No. 17255).
