    Hyodeoxycholic acid (CRM) (Item No. 45166) is a certified reference material categorized as a secondary bile acid.1 Serum levels of hyodeoxycholic acid are increased in patients with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis.2 Hyodeoxycholic acid serum levels are also increased after Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB) surgery in patients with obesity and type 2 diabetes.3 This product is intended for use in analytical research applications. This product is also available as a general research tool (Item No. 20294).
