    S 07662 is an inverse agonist of the constitutive androstane receptor (CAR).1 It stabilizes the ligand-binding domain of human CAR, increases the recruitment of nuclear receptor co-repressor (NCOR), and reduces CAR activity (IC50 = 0.7 µM for the human receptor in a cell-based assay).
