    3,4-Dimethoxyphenol is a phenol that has been found in W. nobilis and has diverse biological activities.1,2,3 It scavenges DPPH (Item No. 14805) radicals in a cell-free assay and is active against S. aureus, M. luteus, and C. albicans.2,3
