Lirinidine is an aporphine alkaloid that has been found in L. tulipfera and has antioxidant and anticancer activities.1 It scavenges DPPH (Item No. 14805) radicals by 6.5% in a cell-free assay and inhibits the proliferation of A375 melanoma cells at 100 µM.
