    Product Description

    Catechin 7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside is a flavonol glycoside that has been found in P. longifolia and has diverse biological activities.1,2,3 It inhibits lipid peroxidation and scavenges hydroxyl radicals and superoxide anions in cell-free assays in a concentration-dependent manner and inhibits hydrogen peroxide-induced DNA damage and apoptosis in BJAB B cell lymphoma cells at 200 µM.1 Catechin 7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside also inhibits lipid accumulation in 3T3-L1 cells.3 It decreases disease severity in a rat model of colitis at 2-10 mg/kg.3
