    Product Description

    3-Hydroxyacetaminophen is an active metabolite of acetaminophen (Item No. 10024).1 It is formed from acetaminophen by the cytochrome P450 (CYP) isoforms CYP2C11, -2A1, -2C12, -2B1, -3A, and -1A, among others. 3-Hydroxyacetaminophen induces hepatic necrosis to a lesser extent than acetaminophen in mice.2
