ENVIRONMENTAL TOXICOLOGY TOOLS & SERVICESMECPP is an inactive urinary metabolite of the plasticizer and environmental contaminant di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and rac-mono(ethylhexyl) phthalate (MEHP; Item No. 35605).1,2 It is associated with lower systolic blood pressure in female adolescents and lower serum LDL-cholesterol (LDL-C) in male adolescents.3 MECPP is also associated with lower mental development indices in female infants.4
