    Product Description

Soyasaponin Aa is a triterpenoid saponin that has been found in G. max and has antioxidant and lipid-lowering activities.1,2 It reverses hydrogen peroxide-induced increases in malondialdehyde (MDA) levels and decreases in superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GPX), and catalase (CAT) activities in HepG2 cells at 100 µg/ml.1 Soyasaponin Aa (100 µM) inhibits peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARγ) transactivation in a reporter assay using HEK293T cells and decreases lipid accumulation in 3T3-L1 adipocytes.2
