    Product Description

Rezafungin is an echinocandin antifungal and a derivative of anidulafungin (Item No. 20753).1,2 It is active against seven Candida species (MICs = ≤0.015-0.5 µg/ml) and inhibits the hyphal growth of seven Aspergillus species with minimum effective concentration (MEC) values of ≤0.015-0.3 µg/ml.2 Rezafungin (0.5-4.5 mg/kg) reduces kidney fungal burden in a mouse model of candidiasis. Formulations containing rezafungin have been used in the treatment of invasive candidiasis and candidemia.
