    Product Description

MiADMSA is a heavy metal chelator and an ester form of meso-2,3-dimercaptosuccinic acid (Item No. 28515).1,2 MiADMSA (100 nM) inhibits arsenic-induced increases in reactive oxygen species (ROS), colony formation, and migration and prevents arsenic-induced decreases in glutathione (GSH) levels in NBT-II rat bladder cancer cells.2 It reduces apoptosis and increases mitochondrial electron transport chain activity in rat neurons in a model of arsenic exposure.1 Oral administration of MiADMSA (50 mg/kg) decreases brain arsenic levels and increases urinary levels in arsenic-exposed rats.

WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use.
