    Deacylhericenone is a deacylated derivative of hericenone C (Item No. 46340).1 It increases the expression of BDNF mRNA in SH-SY5Y neuroblastoma and Caco-2 colon cancer cells at 12.5 µg/ml. Deacylhericenone also protects against hydrogen peroxide-induced decreases in viability in 1321N1 astrocytoma cells in a concentration-dependent manner.
