    Product Description

    Each vial contains purified potato lipoxygenase supplied in 0.1 M Tris-HCl (pH 7.4) containing 0.1% BSA. Lipoxygenase has been formulated to be used for screening lipoxygenase specific inhibitors using the Lipoxygenase Inhibitor Screening Assay (Item No. 760700). There is enough enzyme for use in 96 wells. When following the Lipoxygenase Inhibitor Screening Assay protocol, a 90 µl aliquot of the diluted enzyme causes a final absorbance of 0.25-0.29 using linoleic acid as the substrate.
