    Product Description

    Lagosin is a polyene macrolide that has been found in Streptomyces and has antimicrobial activity.1,2,3 It is active against C. albicans, as well as the plant pathogenic fungus R. solani (MICs = 10 and 72 µg/ml, respectively).2,1 Lagosin is also active against several strains of T. vaginalis that are sensitive or resistant to the antibiotic metronidazole (Item No. 9002409; EC50s = 1.74-2.62 µg/ml after a one-hour incubation).3
