    Hydroxyebastine is an ebastine (Item No. 15372) metabolite.1,2 Ebastine undergoes rapid first-pass metabolism by the cytochrome P450 isoform CYP2J2 to form hydroxyebastine which is then metabolized by CYP2J2 and CYP3A4 to form carebastine.
