    CVT-2738 is an active metabolite of the antianginal agent ranolazine (Item No. 15604).1 It is formed from ranolazine by the cytochrome P450 (CYP) isoform CYP3A. CVT-2738 (100 mg/kg) inhibits increases in T-wave height and the RR interval in a mouse model of myocardial ischemia induced by isoprenaline (isoproterenol; Item No. 15592).2
