    Product Description

    FB23-2 is an inhibitor of the mRNA N6-methyladenosine (m6A) demethylase fat mass and obesity-associated (FTO) protein (IC50 = 2.6 µM).1 It reduces the proliferation of NB4 and Mono-Mac-6 cells (IC50s = 0.8 and 1.5 µM, respectively). FB23-2 increases m6A levels in isolated human bone marrow cells, as well as suppresses the proliferation of isolated human bone marrow cells and a panel of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cells (IC50s = 1.9-5.2 µM). In vivo, FB23-2 (2 mg/kg) delays disease onset and increases survival in a Mono-Mac-6 mouse xenograft model.
