    Dihydrocodeine (Item No. 37884) is an analytical reference standard categorized as an opioid.1 Dihydrocodeine is an active metabolite of hydrocodone (Item Nos. ISO60144 | 15461 | 22166).2 Formulations containing dihydrocodeine have been used in the treatment of severe pain and have been associated with misuse and polypharmacy-related overdose.3 Dihydrocodeine is regulated as a Schedule II compound in the United States.
