    Product Description

    Biotin-cholesterol is a biotinylated form of the major sterol cholesterol (Item No. 9003100). It has been used in the synthesis of ergosterol peroxide derivatives for cellular localization studies.1 Biotin-cholesterol has also been used in the synthesis of biotin-conjugated liposomes and micelles for drug delivery to cancer cells in vitro.2
