    Product Description

    CP 339,818 is an inhibitor of voltage-gated potassium channel Kv1.3 and Kv1.4 (IC50s = 0.23 and 0.3 µM, respectively).1 It is selective for these channels over Kv1.1, Kv1.2, Kv1.5, and Kv1.6 channels (IC50s = 62, 14, 19, and 20 µM, respectively), as well as Kv3.1, Kv3.2, Kv3.4, and Kv4.2 channels (IC50s = 17, 10, 36, and >10 µM, respectively). CP 339,818 inhibits thymidine incorporation, a marker of T cell activation, induced by an anti-CD3 antibody or a combination of ionomycin (Item Nos. 10004974 | 11932) and phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA; Item No. 10008014) in isolated human peripheral blood T cells (IC50s = 4.7 and 5.2 µM, respectively).
