    Product Description

    Questin is an anthraquinone that has been found in A. fumigatus and has diverse biological activities.1,2,3,4 It inhibits cell division cycle 25B (Cdc25B) phosphatase (IC50 = 34 µg/ml) and reduces the proliferation of SW620 colon cancer cells (GI50 = 0.9 µg/ml).1 Questin (50 or 100 µM) reduces the viability of A549 lung cancer cells.2 It reduces viral replication in MDCK cells infected with influenza A H1N1 or H3N2 (IC50s = 1.92 and 9.62 µM, respectively).3 Questin decreases proliferation of the protozoa T. fetus (MIC = 12.5 µg/ml).4
