    Desmycosin is a macrolide antibiotic.1 It is also an acidic degradation product of tylosin (Item No. 22599).2 Desmycosin is active against H. influenzae, S. aureus, S. pneumoniae, and S. pyogenes (MICs = 4, 1, <0.125, and <0.125 µg/ml, respectively).1
