    (+)-α-Tocopherol acetate (CRM) (Item No. 42624) is a certified reference material categorized as an acetate form of (+)-α-tocopherol, which is a biologically active form of vitamin E.1 (+)-α-Tocopherol acetate is used as an additive in vaping mixtures for electronic cigarettes.2 It has been found in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) of patients with electronic-cigarette, or vaping, product use-associated lung injury (EVALI).3 This product is intended for analytical forensic applications. This product is also available as a general research tool (Item No. 31795).
