    Product Description

    The LipidLaunch™ Helper Lipid Set includes cholesterol, 1,2-dimyristoyl-rac-3-PEG(2000) (DMG-PEG(2000); Item No. 33945), and 1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-PC (1,2-DSPC; Item No. 39189) for use in lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulations. Cholesterol and 1,2-DSPC are formulated at 25 mM and DMG-PEG(2000) at 10 mg/ml in ethanol for ease of addition to LNP formulations. These lipids can be combined with cationic or ionizable cationic lipids to make a lipid mixture capable of encapsulating nucleic acids. Please note that warming to 37°C for up to 30 minutes may be required to ensure complete dissolution of these lipids in solvent. LNPs containing these lipids in combination with a cationic or ionizable cationic lipid have been used to encapsulate mRNA, plasmid DNA, siRNA, and other nucleic acid cargo for intracellular delivery.
