    Product Description

    α-hydroxy Alprazolam-d5 (CRM) (Item No. 43157) is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of α-hydroxy alprazolam (Item Nos. 25517 | 15287) by GC- or LC-MS. α-hydroxy Alprazolam is categorized as a benzodiazepine.1,2 It is a major active metabolite of alprazolam (Item Nos. ISO60185 | 14255) that has a higher urinary recovery than 4-hydroxy alprazolam (Item No. 15878), another major metabolite. It is also a metabolite of adinazolam (Item Nos. 30186 | 18205).3 α-hydroxy Alprazolam has anticonvulsant activity in mice.2 This product is intended for research and forensic applications.
