    Zymosterol is a precursor in the biosynthesis of cholesterol (Item Nos. 9003100 | 39088 | 39448).1 It accumulates in the plasma membrane in fibroblasts and translocates to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) during cholesterol synthesis.2,3
