    Product Description

    Deoxycholic acid disulfate is a bile acid and derivative of the secondary bile acid deoxycholic acid (Item Nos. 44906 | 20756 | 18231).1 Circulating levels of deoxycholic acid disulfate are increased in male Ldlr-/- mice exposed to a per- and polyfluoroalkyl substance (PFAS) mixture compared to male vehicle control mice. Levels in the circulation are lower in male compared to female vehicle control mice. Fecal levels of deoxycholic acid disulfate are increased 4.9-fold in mice following exposure to 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD; Item No. 38392).2
