    Silodosin is a potent α1A-adrenoceptor antagonist (Ki = 0.036 nM).1,2 It shows selectivity for the prostatic adrenoceptor.1,3 As a result, it is effective against lower urinary tract symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia.4,5
