    Promethazine (hydrochloride) (CRM) (Item No. 21331) is a certified reference material categorized as a phenothiazine.1 Promethazine has been associated with misuse in conjunction with opioids or sedatives.1,2 Formulations containing promethazine have been used in the treatment of various allergy-related conditions, anesthesia- or surgery-related nausea and vomiting, and to induce sedation. This product is intended for analytical forensic applications. This product is also available as a general research tool (Item No. 16478).
