    Product Description

    6β-hydroxy Dexamethasone is an active metabolite of the synthetic glucocorticoid dexamethasone (Item No. 11015).1 It is formed from dexamethasone by the cytochrome P450 (CYP) isoform CYP3A4. 6β-hydroxy Dexamethasone (1 mg/kg) reduces cortisol (hydrocortisone; Item No. 20739) production in rats.2
